Our Vision

SC&G Recreation Association exists to create a place where our community comes together.

We envision a recreation association that serves families of all ages by providing safe facilities, quality youth sports, opportunities for healthy living, and community events that bring neighbors together. Whether it's a child stepping onto the field for the first time, families attending a community event, or volunteers giving back, SC&G strives to be a source of pride for our community.

This vision extends beyond athletics. Recreation strengthens communities, encourages healthy lifestyles, builds friendships, and creates memories that last a lifetime. We are committed to preserving and improving our facilities so they can continue serving generations to come.

Every improvement made at SC&G is made possible through the support of our members, volunteers, sponsors, and donors.

As a volunteer-led nonprofit organization, we are continually working to improve our facilities, expand recreation opportunities, and provide a welcoming environment for everyone. We encourage community feedback and invite anyone who shares our vision to become involved.

Current Improvement Projects

Our current priorities focus on improving the safety, accessibility, and functionality of our facilities.

Facility Improvements

Repair plumbing in the recreation building bathrooms.
Replace toilets damaged through vandalism.
Install a water heater.
Install electric hand dryers to reduce paper waste and help prevent recurring plumbing clogs.
Replace the damaged rear gutter on the recreation building.
Construct a new stairway to improve access to the lower field.
Repair the donated utility vehicle (UTV) used for facility maintenance and operations.

Recently Completed

Replaced all exterior locks following repeated break-ins.
Organized a successful Community Clean-Up Day with volunteers from across the community.
